Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LVL2 platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

LVL2 provides a booking and client management platform for service professionals including tattoo artists, barbers, and hair stylists. The Service includes booking links, intake forms, appointment scheduling, SMS automation, client communication tools, and payment-ready workflows where payment features are enabled.

Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

Provider Responsibilities

If you use LVL2 as a service provider, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your services, availability, and pricing.
  • Honor confirmed appointments and communicate changes promptly.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and licensing requirements for your profession.
  • Maintain appropriate health and safety standards.
  • Respond to client communications in a timely manner.

Client Responsibilities

If you use LVL2 as a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information in booking requests and intake forms.
  • Honor appointment times or cancel within the provider's stated policy.
  • Pay required deposits and balances as agreed when payments are enabled through LVL2 or arranged directly with the provider outside LVL2.
  • Comply with provider studio policies.

Payments and Deposits

  • LVL2 is currently offered at no charge while payment processing is paused and we evaluate a replacement. During this free period, LVL2 does not charge subscription fees, platform fees, or paid deposits through the Service.
  • Payments, when enabled, are processed securely through third-party payment processors such as Stripe or another provider.
  • Deposit amounts and refund policies are set by individual providers.
  • LVL2 facilitates payment processing but is not a party to transactions between providers and clients.
  • Payment availability can depend on the payment processor, connected account status, and workspace configuration.
  • If payment processing, paid deposits, subscriptions, or platform fees are re-enabled, any charges and processor fees will be shown before payment.
  • Disputes regarding services should be resolved directly between the provider and client.

SMS and Communications

  • Program Name: LVL2 Booking Updates.
  • By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox during the booking process on an artist's profile page (e.g., lvl2.ink/russellcain), you expressly consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to bookings and appointments from LVL2. The checkbox reads: “I agree to receive SMS booking updates from LVL2. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Text STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”
  • Your consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase or booking. You may complete a booking without providing a phone number or without checking the consent box.
  • Message types include: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, status updates, and payment links. All messages are transactional — we do not send marketing or promotional SMS.
  • Message frequency varies. Typically 2–5 messages per booking.
  • You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance or contact support@lvl2.ink.
  • Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
  • We comply with all applicable telecommunications regulations including TCPA and A2P messaging requirements.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Intellectual Property

The LVL2 name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Content you upload (photos, descriptions, etc.) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it on the platform as part of the Service.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without permission.
  • Upload malicious code or content.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.

Limitation of Liability

LVL2 is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of California.
